Thanks for organising this - really enjoyable and informative! I have tried to upload a couple of images but I keep getting a message to reduce the photo size even though it seems to be within the allowed dimensions (my photos show as 1600 x 1200 on my PC). I am probably being dim, but maybe a quick tutorial at the next club night might be handy? On the fruit photos, I found that those I shot at F22 showed every speck of dust, whereas at 2.8 these were invisible and the fruit still seemed to be in focus....good to learn these things!
After you have chosen the file, make sure you click upload. Then click save.
When I do that, it crops it down to a square (even though the original rectangular photo seems to be within pixel limit). Is that supposed to happen?
Try and post it and see what gets posted.
yep - it seems to have loaded ok although the preview was heavily cropped...
Im having the same problem image size is 1600 x 1054 and it uploads as a square image
Hi owen just posted and it seems to post as a landscape ok
