In this study we have a lead in from the bottom right taking us up towards the base of a
ramp, which then leads to the vertical element of the lighthouse, which occupies the top
half of the frame. The foreground yellow colour is quite saturated and slightly
overpowers the yellow colour of the building. It also competes strongly with the red
colour of the light housing, and as we know, our eyes tend to be drawn to red elements
in an image. The lighting is quite flat, with virtually no shadows; exposure has been
competently handled.
