A beautiful study of a heron at sunset. In contrast to the previous image here we have
some much darker tones and the sun out of sight behind the clouds providing interest in
the sky. We can see cloud shapes and shafts of light. The subject is well placed, with
the head about one third of the way up the frame, and with space to move into. A key
part of this image is the separation between the head and the scenery in the
background. Maybe consider removing the small red reflection just behind the bird’s
head?
