are several interesting groupings of geese within the skein, each adding something to
Footer 4the story. Image appears to have been captured in lower light conditions, as it is quite
noisy, which is odd given that the clouds look like they are lit from slightly above. The
dark undefined clouds unfortunately dominate most of the scene.
Overall.
A varied selection of images showing a variety of action, a portrait and a behavioural scene,
and not a single bird on a stick! Photographer is also working both in colour and
monochrome and I think presenting the seagull as a B&W image was a good choice. A set
of difficult subjects - consider where you are focussed to improve sharpness, look at the
best techniques to avoid introducing noise, and where possible make use of the
‘composition’ and framing rules to present your subject.
