Like the flower before, focus starts just after the very front and it then takes us to the focus area so we move in. And then out of focus as we move beyond the links. The main link in the center is in focus. As in the flower shot, personally I would like to see it all in focus. Exposure looks good as we see plenty of tones in the rust. Is this a suitable image for mono as it is probably full of rusty browns and reds. I believe it is as we are looking at shapes and forms here. Like many types of shots of chains, stones, leaves, etc, you need to crop off some place. The key is to make the crop so that it is not very obvious and that something is missing. This has been cropped well.
